WHere is a simplified take on a cocktail from our latest cocktail list. This is a party-sized premix that's loaded full of essence of the festive period, which makes it ideal for a celebration. Save the extra cordial you can use for breakfast cocktails, sweets, or to mix additional servings of this cocktail.
Bikini Recipe
Yields 10 servings
Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
Making the Cordial: Place all the ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a simmer, agitating so the sugar melts. Next, turn off the stove and let it to cool down completely. Decant into a sealable bottle, close it and store in the fridge, it can be stored for around a month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Combine the specified spirits and syrup into one big jug, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then filter it preferably using cheesecloth, making it fully clarified.
To serve: Pour 85ml from the cocktail base into your stirring glass packed with ice, and stir carefully for a minute to chill. Pour into a frosted cocktail glass or similar, top with a few cranberries and complete it using a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
